Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2026

The short version: we collect what we need to run our free training and stay in touch with you. We do not sell your information for money. You can ask us to stop emailing you, or to delete your information, at any time.

1. Who we are

This site is run by HouseHeist® ("HouseHeist," "we," "us," or "our"). We host HouseHeist Live, a free live real estate training, and we produce the HouseHeist docuseries and related content. This policy explains what we collect when you visit this site, register for a training, join a live session, book a call, or contact us.

Questions? Email us at [email protected].

2. What we collect

What you give us:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number (the phone number is optional).
  • Anything you type into our forms, emails, chat, or Q&A. This can include the address of a property you want us to look at.
  • Information you give when you book a call with us.

What we collect automatically:

  • Your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you view.
  • How you found us. This includes the ad or link you clicked, such as campaign tags in the web address and a Facebook click ID.
  • Whether you opened our emails or clicked our links.
  • Whether you joined a live training, when you joined, and how long you stayed.

What we get from other sources: advertising platforms, webinar tools, scheduling tools, and other service providers may send us information about you, such as whether you registered or attended.

3. How we use your information

  • To sign you up and send your training link, calendar invite, and reminders.
  • To run the live training and answer your questions.
  • To send you the replay, follow-up emails, and information about our programs and events.
  • To set up and hold calls with you, if you ask for one.
  • To measure and improve our ads, our pages, and our training.
  • To keep our site safe, stop fraud, and follow the law.
  • To answer your messages.

4. Ads, pixels, and cookies

We use cookies and similar tools. A cookie is a small file saved on your device. We use them to keep the site working, to remember how you found us for up to 30 days, and to measure our advertising.

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and related tools, including server-to-server tools, to see which ads lead to registrations and to show our ads to people who may be interested. These partners may collect information about your visit and use it under their own privacy policies.

Your choices:

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work well if you do.
  • You can change your ad settings in your Facebook and Google accounts.
  • If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sharing of your information for ads, where the law requires us to.

5. Emails

When you register, we will email you about the training and may send you other messages about HouseHeist. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us to stop. We may still send you messages about something you asked for, like a call you booked.

6. Text messages

We only text you if you give us your phone number and agree to get texts. If we send texts, they may include training reminders and updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop getting texts. Reply HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never required to join a training or buy anything.

We do not share your mobile phone number or text message consent with third parties for their own marketing.

7. Live sessions, recordings, and what you share

Our live trainings may be recorded, and the recording may be shared as a replay or used in our content. If you ask a question out loud, type in the chat, or send us a property address to review, your words, voice, or image may be part of the recording and may be seen by others in the room.

Please do not share private or sensitive information in the chat or Q&A. This includes Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, passwords, and personal details about other people. If you do not want to be on the recording, do not turn on your camera or microphone, and do not post in the chat.

8. Who we share information with

We share information only as needed, with:

  • Service providers that help us run our business, such as website and funnel hosting, email and text tools, customer management tools, webinar and scheduling tools, payment tools, and analytics tools. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
  • Advertising and social platforms, such as Meta, so we can measure and improve our ads.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants, and insurers.
  • Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users, or the safety of others.
  • A buyer or partner if HouseHeist is part of a sale, merger, or similar deal.
  • Anyone else, with your permission.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some state privacy laws treat certain ad tools, like the Meta Pixel, as a "sale" or "sharing" of information for ads. You can opt out of this at any time. See Section 10.

9. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy, to follow the law, to settle disputes, and to keep our records. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

10. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we have about you.
  • Fix information that is wrong.
  • Delete your information.
  • Stop sending you marketing emails or texts.
  • Stop sharing your information for ads.

To make a request, email [email protected] with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We may need to confirm who you are first. We will reply within the time the law allows, which is usually 45 days. We will not treat you unfairly for using your rights. If we say no to a request, you can ask us to look at it again. Some laws, such as those in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Virginia, give residents of those states specific rights, and we honor those rights.

We may not be able to delete some information, such as records we must keep by law.

11. Keeping your information safe

We use reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or system is 100 percent secure, so we cannot promise that your information will never be lost, stolen, or misused.

12. Children

Our site and trainings are for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child gave us information, email us and we will delete it.

13. Links to other sites

Our site may link to other websites and tools, like Zoom, YouTube, and Facebook. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.

14. Where your information goes

We are based in the United States, and your information is stored and used in the United States. If you visit from another country, you understand your information will be moved to and handled in the United States.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If we make a big change, we will try to tell you by email or on the site. Using our site after a change means you accept the new policy.
